Handcrafted Autumn Themed Antique and Vintage Button Bracelet with Handmade Acorns of Tiger Eye and Agate Stone

$74.00

“Acorn-ucopia

Picture yourself taking an Autumn ramble drive to view the wonders of the season..wearing your very own one of a kind “Acorn-ucopia” bracelet to celebrate the ambiance of the day! Autumn brings out sweet comforting emotions of a minor key… leaves and aromas and sweaters and apple cider and flowers glowing in their last hurrahs. So much to savor! And, yes, I have been known to give a tree ,in all its colorful attention grabbing glory , a solid round of applause !

To create this Autumn themed bracelet, I go through my many stashes of buttons and beads to find the ones that speak to me…

The buttons chosen are lovely fancy antique and vintage metal buttons , many with a floral and leaf motif.
Small glass buttons add orange , red ,and soft gold hues. There are also small Mother of Pearl glove buttons.

The beading is done with citrine stone, red horn, red and brown tiger eye stone, a wonderful stone called Tibetan agate with little bulls eye designs, copper colored metal beads, and tiny glass beads.

There are five handcrafted acorns of red tiger eye ( a very rich brown color) and carved agate stones for the caps .

The handmade toggle clasp is fashioned with 16 gauge brass wire, shaped and gently hammered into a stylish and secure closure. To use, the curved bar is held straight up
and pulled though the circle. It will then lie flat, beautifully and safely!

As far as length, there is a thickness here, so the best thing to do is to measure your wrist. For now, a wrist size 6 1/8” or smaller would be most comfortable. if a larger size is needed, I would be happy to add some links to the clasp. Please contact me and it would be my pleasure!

Forgive me for going on and on about Fall, but here’s just a few more thoughts…

I love Autumn here in Lancaster County Pennsylvania, with the pumpkins in the Amish fields, and forests of the river hills along the Susquehanna River where I live. It’s a full sensory time of year. My Newfoundland dogs appreciate the cooler weather and I brush the leaves from their coats at the door! A wonderful, wonderful season!

Thank you for your kind interest!
