Handcrafted Earrings designed with Vintage Metal Buttons and Fresh Water Pearls
When metal buttons are flattened, the designs upon them morph into an olde world effect, and they are beautifully transformed. In this design they are then curved into a Calla Lily shape to wrap around lovely fresh water pearls. The pearls are dyed a gentle mauve color. The buttons are also enhanced with handmade spiral wire tube beads. Colors in the earrings include gold, bronze, mauve, and soft black.
The length is 1 7/8” and the width at the widest point is 3/8”.
The handmade ear wires are fashioned with gold filled wire. They have been strengthened in a tumbler and the little loops holding the earrings are soldered closed.
